SERIES flower power
Par un intérêt particulier pour les couleurs, les formes diverses et le végétal, il est inévitable que mon pinceau serve à imager la diversité florale réelle mais surtout imaginative. Voici quelques pièces qui témoignent de cette admiration instinctive.
Through a particular interest for colours, various shapes and the plant world, it was inevitable that my brush would end up picturing the floral diversity, real and imagined. Here are some works that translate this instinctive admiration.
SERIES earth
Various pieces created in the midst of an awe for the planet, its beauty and wonders, and of course its need to be preserved. In the past year or two I've started to play with oil colours which allow me to elongate the creation and really take my time in painting what I want to tale.
Quelques oeuvres produites en plein admiration pour la planète, sa beauté et ses merveilles, et bien sûr le besoin de la préserver. Depuis une année ou deux, je me suis mis à peindre à l'huile ce qui me permet d'allonger le temps de création et réellement prendre mon temps à peindre ce que je veux raconter.
SERIES first nations matter
Reconnaissance de territoire
En tant qu'artiste québécois-canadien, je tiens à reconnaître que l'ensemble de ma création se fait sur un territoire non cédé des Premières Nations. L’île appelée « Montréal » est connue sous le nom de Tiohtiá:ke dans la langue des Kanien’kehá:ka, et a toujours été un lieu de rencontre pour d’autres nations autochtones, y compris le peuple omàmiwininì ou Algonquin. En tant qu’artiste engagé, je pense qu’il est crucial de connaître les conséquences passées et actuelles du colonialisme. J'encourage tout le monde à apprendre davantage sur l’histoire de ces territoires et à soutenir la résistance autochtone ici et sur l’ensemble de l’île de la Tortue.
Land acknowledgment
As a Quebec-Canada artist, I wish to acknowledge that the whole of my creation is done on a land of the First Nations that was not ceded. The island called “Montreal” is known as Tiohtiá:ke in the language of the Kanien’kehá:ka, and it has historically been a meeting place for other Indigenous nations, including the omàmiwininì or Algonquin people. As a conscious artiste, I feel it’s crucial to be informed on the past and ongoing consequences of colonialism. I encourage everyone to learn about the history of these lands and to support Indigenous resistance here and across Turtle Island.

Une variété d'oeuvres qui explore le mélange des couleurs, formes, matières et textures; une technique propre au plaisir de la création et de l'expression directe de l'inconscient. Kâo renvoie au chaos de l'instant et de la spontanéité, à l'échec et/ou au dégât qui se révèle finalement en de pures impulsivités de l'âme.
A variety of pieces exploring the mix of colours, shapes, medium and textures; a technique linked with the pleasure of creation and direct expression of the subconscious. Kâo sounding like chaos in french refers to the present moment and its spontaneity, to errors and/or messes that reveal to be pure impulses of the soul.

Various pieces inspired by shots taken while travelling or by souvenirs of places I've visited during my many travels around the globe.
Quelques oeuvres inspirées de clichés pris en voyage ou de souvenirs d'endroits visités au cours d'un des ces nombreux voyages autour du globe.
SERIES vario
Fidel à moi-même, je parcours la vie de manière frivole et éclectique. Tantôt avec des envies dans un sens, tantôt avec des besoins dans l'autre, et en art, je créé de manière toute aussi impromptue et inégale. Contrairement à bien des artistes qui approfondissent leur recherche dans des techniques particulières, la toile blanche m'invite toujours vers de nouveaux horizons. Bien que je produise quelques séries sous un même thème, je parsème l'entre deux créations d'essais et erreurs variées qui se diffèrent presque toutes.
Faithful to my inner self, I wander the path of life in a frivolous and eclectic way. Sometimes with an attraction to desires in a certain manner, other moments with needs towards other ways, in art, I do my creation in a way just as impromptu and uneven. While other artists deepen their research of particular techniques, the white canvas constantly pulls me to new horizons. Although I do produce some series under the same theme, between two pieces I'll manage to create various trials and errors that are quite different from one to another.
